This BIM Guideline and Standard applies to Indiana University A/E selections advertised on or after
October 1st, 2009 for the following projects:

• Required on all construction (new and addition/alteration) with total project funding of
$5M or greater, and on any project that has already been delivered with a BIM requirement.

• Encouraged but not required on all other projects.
(The Indiana University goal is to have all IU projects using BIM in the future)
